Saving and Backups
Saved presets and calendar entries remain available after a resource restart. Active drops are temporary and are not restored after a restart.
What survives restart
| Data | After a resource restart |
|---|---|
| Saved presets | Available, including their author and modification details. |
| Calendar entries | Available, including pause state and saved run results. |
| Changes saved in configuration files | Loaded from those files. |
| Active flares, aircraft and containers | Removed; drops are not resumed. |
| Loot remaining in active drops | Not restored by F5 Airdrop. |
| Automatic-drop toggle | Resets to enabled. |
| Recent administrator logs | Cleared. |
| Open administrator panel | Closed. |
If stash data remains after a server crash, consult your inventory's maintenance guidance before removing it.
Confirm a save
Wait for the success message after saving a preset or calendar entry. If confirmation is missing, refresh the corresponding list before trying again.
If saved entries are unavailable after a restart, check that the resource started successfully and that the server uses the expected database connection. See Troubleshooting.
Backup and restore
Back up the server database together with your customized files in config/, locales/ and bridge/. Use your hosting provider's or database administration tool's backup procedure. Copying the resource folder alone does not include saved presets or calendar entries.
To restore a backup:
- Stop F5 Airdrop.
- Restore the database backup and its matching customized files.
- Start the resource and check for startup errors.
- Open the panel and review saved presets, paused events and upcoming calendar entries.
Restored events may refer to times that have already passed. The normal missed-event rules still apply.
Use the preset manager's Export action to keep or share a copy of an individual preset. See Presets for export and import instructions.
